I was hoping you did a Bauhaus follow up
Beautifully articulated and thorough. Thank you for this video. As a student of art history and strong lover of this movement this video generalized the movement but successfully communicates the goals and significance of the style completely! Applause sir applause!
Art nouveau must be the pinnacle of what mankind can achieve, nipped in the bud by consumerism and blandness
It has a certain draw due to the world wars. The rich killing the masses. The propaganda still has control today. WAR is a crime against mankind.
I can't stop looking at Art Noveau buildings in the older areas of different cities. The interior design too. So many details. Beauty is important in life. Modernism destroyed that concept.
Very well done! Thank you. You have a great voice and so knowledgable.
I'm loving this series

Well researched doc! Great that you also do subjects like Art Nouveau, as everyone needs to learn about it. For more detailed information, I recommend this blog I have been writing for many years: https://aboutartnouveau.wordpress.com/
Keep up the good work!
I love the history and legacy of Art Nouveau left the past designers and architects for all of us to appreciate and enjoy and to preserve for future generations to enjoy and respect.
Your work is a joy to watch.
In every city if you take a drive to the older parts of town, you can see Art Deco and Art Noveau in the buildings.
Art Noveau period was probably the most beautiful period in history. Everything went downhill after the Arts and Crafts movement.
Thanks, Montez, it was very interesting
I see you didn't mention Alfons Mucha he was a great I like when he created the ladies figurative pieces nice video man you shold do a mini bio on him
Great to see things like this on you tube its useful as a teacher to use, although your pronunciation is a wee bit err American 🙂 but genuinely a great resource, well done 🙂
Excellent run-down on Nouveau's history.
Thx it helped on my homework 😁
